Thanks for the report.  It should be fixed by now.

Generally I feel that the current solution with `TeX-transient-master'
may be a bit too fragile because its value can be applied to buffers
which are not related to the original buffer setting the value.  If
somebody has a better idea how to tackle master file questions in case
of shared and region files where the master file is already known, I'd
be grateful to hear them.
