We all come from different backgrounds and different coding standards. I believe we established for this project that we would be consistent with avr-libc even though some of us don't particularly like it's coding conventions (me included). In the name of making progress I understand this and am willing to live with it. The _t is a standard naming convention that other people use (including avr-libc).Oh dear. It's a pity we didn't all go to the same School for Programmers. I name a type definition in upper case and instances in camel (where did this "camel" come from?). However I agree exposed typedefs should conform to a style. Please let's not add stuff like _t to names - what's the point?
