Well, after deciding to forego the RPMS, I built swarm from the
source. I must admit that doing so was _much_ easier under version
2.0.1 than with version 1.4.1! Everything works fine, now.
Two questions:
1. Right now, my swarm source directory lives in ~/prog/swarm-2.0.1/,
with the libraries, include files, etc. installed in
/usr/local/swarm/. I'd like to move the source files into the
directory /usr/local/swarm/src so that I can trace through them
when debugging. What's the best way to do this? Should I just
"make clean" and then "mv ~/prog/swarm-2.0.1 /usr/local/swarm/src"?
2. (I'm sure this is a FAQ, but I couldn't find it there)
When I compile I swarm app, I get warning messages like:
/usr/bin/ld: warning: type and size of dynamic symbol
`__objc_class_name_Colormap' are not defined
when I execute the application, I get warning messages like:
/usr/bin/ld: warning: type and size of dynamic symbol
`__objc_class_name_Colormap' are not defined
but the app runs fine. What causes these errors and what can I do
to stop them?
Thanks,
Jason
