Hello.

OK, I tried the patches. Here is the rundown of the process:

I started with the AI1.patch applied.

- Loaded the latest CVS, built it, reloaded the drivers - works.
Restarted the computer - doesn't work. (xmms crashes)
- Applied AI2.patch, reloaded the drivers - works. Restarted the
computer - works.
- Applied AI3.patch, reloaded the drivers - works. Restarted the
computer - doesn't work.


So, it would seem that AI2.patch is good. BTW, my card is SQ2500, which
one are you using?

Another thing worth noticing, is that it now behaves differently with
the latest CVS (without your patches applied): Yesterday it didn't crash
xmms, there just wasn't any sound coming out. Also, the messages in
syslog don't appear anymore.
