In the future (GSoC?) quadprog and lsqlin should IMO be changed to directly call __qp__, not qp.m. Among other things this should make ordering of the 'lambda' output feasible. It'll require some more input processing. I'd suggest that an intermediate private function is written, being called by both quadprog and lsqlin and doing the argument processing for calling __qp__.
