Yep; remarkably. I really don't follow why your result is so much better

The plots I posted were the same on Windows and Linux. Does OSX handle

Yes. I have those applied. What version of fltk are you using? I have
1.3 installed.
My MXE version has fltk-1.3.1. Did you compare with gnuplot? (sorry for all those questions) @Michael: Thanks for the suggestion of align - But first of all I wonder why my plots changed so much (adversely) after a few changesets, and why Ben got different plots than me. Phliip
The script treats gnuplot differently from fltk, so I edited the brugplot.m to remove the special treatment given gnuplot. In either event, since "align" is on by default default for gnuplot, the result looks better. I've attached the result using gnupot's Qt terminal.
