My simple experiments with it suggest that it is getting close to full functionality, without the usual overhead in time and complexity shown by, for example, Matlab. Even on the fastest machines around I always invoke matlab with matlab --nodesktop. Even then it takes much longer than Octave to come to life. Michael |
