Given that monotone is about versioning trees of files, this seems kinda
like twisting it out of it's groove to me.  Is there a problem with just
having a myconfigs project, and symlinking; eg. ~/.emacs to
~/myconfigs-workingdir/.emacs ?  Seems cleaner.
