Just an idea:
One:
On the first machine add the sources.
Do a build of the native kernel to get a benchmark of how long it would
take if we have to do a series of changes and a rebuild.
Two:
Create on one of the other two machines a web searchable full source
tree, for people to go over for freedom verification.
Three:
Make Tea or install the third box as somewhere to test new kernels and
friends.
The idea being that we have a default box on 1.
Two is a source archive svn / cvs web browsable
3 is the install and reboot changes box.
Current situation:
== Available Machines ==
* "build1": ssh address@hidden -p 2200
** This is the general login machine where we make user accounts for
people. Only FSF Sys Admins and Lemote has root on this box.
* "build2": ssh -A address@hidden -p 2200 and then ssh address@hidden
** ompaul (#gnewsense IRC) has root on this box. Currently it's just his
playground.
* "build3": ssh -A address@hidden -p 2200 and then ssh address@hidden

he doesn't need it.
* The below email references 4 machines but only has info on 3. We
should see what's up with that; perhaps 192.168.29.1 or 192.168.29.4
exist...

Dear all,
Lemote has setup a compile farm of four Lemote mini-PC, you can access
it via:
ssh <user>@dev.lemote.com <mailto:root at dev.lemote.com> -p 2200
Current user & passwd:
1. root <censored>
2. user <censored>
After login, you can connect to 192.168.29.2 192.168.29.3 to use other
machines.
Please use it freely.
Any problem,please contact us.
</pre>
== New Account Creation on build1 ==
Uses a slightly modified version of the user creation script used on
[[fencepost.gnu.org]]; the syntax for adding new users is the same.
=== New Account Creation Email ===
Change the "CHANGEME" before sending...
<pre>
Your account on the Lemote-provided Loongson 2f build farm has been created.
Most recent documentation:
http://wiki.gnewsense.org/Projects/GNewSenseToMIPS#toc180
You should be able to login to the primary machine with:
ssh address@hidden -p 2200
We haven't figured out how to deal with the 2 additional machines yet;
put probably will make the most sense to have them be for special
projects / distcc slaves instead of additional login boxes. If you are
willing to help with the setup of that, or have ideas on the best setup,
please direct those emails to address@hidden (you are now
a member of that list).
Please direct any discussion regarding your project(s) topics to your
project(s) mailing lists (i.e., anything about the gNewSense port to
mipsel/loongson 2f should go to the gnewsense mailing lists).
Thanks,
