When I asked what would happen if they wanted to change the page layout they said, yes, then probably these ties end up *anywhere* and they'd have to redo it. And they even suggested that could happen when they'd only add a note to a chord somewhere or change an accidental. Phew. I think even worse than having to redo that every time is that you have to *notice* the change in the first place. When that tie suddenly starts at 40% instead of 55% of the note's value this is something that doesn't shout at you - so basically you'd have to *redo* the whole proofing process from scratch! :-( |
