Well, *what* various sections? What "all the common stuff"?

What styles? I agree that songs and chants can be regarded as two
"styles", but I'm afraid it doesn't go any further...

You have to tell me what you have in mind when talking about "types",
"styles" or whatever. I may be dumb as a pianist, but to me what makes
vocal music specific is that you have to enter lyrics -- which is why
the layout I proposed aimed to gradually explained how to do so. I
looked in vain for a layout that would be compatible with other 2.x
sections, but if you can elaborate on your idea, I'd be happy to
change my mind.
