I discovered something. If I press some arrow (cursor moving) key, then the 
next ^K overwrites the cutbuffer (so clears its previous content).

So, for example, when the user wants to delete lines 1-3 and move lines 4-6 
behind line 10, then after pressing ^K 3 times, presses the right arrow, then 
presses ^K three times, then moves the cursor below 10 and presses ^U.

(This behaviour is not the best elegant I could imagine, but.. (if it will 
remain) please at least mention it in the documentation.)
