	Ah, that's a matter of perspective, I suppose.  :)  I consider the 
patch committed when my hook completes.  You're right, though, if it 
commits, and then can't be read, I've got a recovery issue.  My point 
is that I'm aware of it at that point, not two weeks later when I try 
to pick up the project again.
