If you loose your archive and restore the backup, you will probably miss the latest revisions revisions. However, probably some developpers have a workingdirectory and/or a revision library that contains all this information. So, what's the best way to recover the lost revisions ?One could recover the revisions from the revlib and commit them manually one byone, or maybe there is an automated way to do this ?
When I commit to my remote archive, I've got a hook that automatically mirrors the archive locally. I theoretically shouldn't lose a revision for any reason.
