Talking about making configs easier to use:
I can `build a config', but what about taling an existing tree and updating
it to some other config (preserving local changes)?

I'd be mostly interested in something like
`tla star-merge-config --three-way', but maybe `tla update-config'
and `tla replay-config' are in order.
