HFS+ is optionally case sensitive.  Search the net, and you can find a
couple of ways of doing it.  You can either set a flag, and the option
appears in Disk Utility, or you can add the '-s' option to newfs_hfs.
It only works with 10.3 or later.

I don't believe you can change an already existing system, and there
isno guarantee that certain applications won't break (Netscape comes to
mind), since OSX developers are developing on case insensitive.

If you have other drives, you can certainly create other partitions that
are case sensitive, though.
