hi there,

using your latest beta (and the stable release) of pst-3dplot on GNU/Linux, i
find that the following compiles fine and is viewable in xdvi:

\documentclass[10pt, a4paper]{report}
\usepackage{pstricks}
%\usepackage{pst-3dplot}
\begin{document}
\begin{pspicture}(-1,-1)(1,1)
  \rput(-0.5,-0.5){$(-\frac 12,-\frac 12)$}
  \rput(0.5,0.5){$(-\frac 12,-\frac 12)$}
\end{pspicture}
\end{document}

however, if i uncomment the \usepackage{pst-3dplot} line, then \rput is no
longer displayed correctly in xdvi.. in fact anything in \rput appears at
coordinate (0,0). this is quite a bug issue for our project as it means that all
\rputs in the entire book are broken in xdvi... and we need to include
pst-3dplot as we are making use of it.

do you have any idea what is going on? surely pst-3dplot should not be
redefining pstricks commands.

cheers,
Sam
