As far as I know, yes -- but we need to check this.

Agreed. I'm in favor of renaming it to org.org to stick
to convention currently in use: [package-name].texi.
If more manuals are to be written in Org, then having
calc-manual.org, emacs-manual.org, etc. is redundant.
