Another nice option is to use
(semanticdb-enable-gnu-global-databases 'c-mode)
And use gnu global for searching for tags project wide, So you start
with generated gtag file and then use semantic to search for a
tag. Semantic will internally fallback to global to find the file and
then parse the file to find the tag.
