Package releases at homepage

Hi,

It is good that there are direct references to recnt GNUstep packages on
the home page. However, there are too many of them and usualy majority
of visitors will download all of them, or at least the first part. By
first look at the page, one might ask: "what package to download and
what is the difference?". My suggestion is to put there references to
packages:

GNUstep-core-x.x.x | Release Info
GNUstep-development-apps-x.x.x | Release Info
GNUstep-WindowsInstaller.exe | Release Info

Than would silently mean: "it is easy to develop with gnustep, only two
packages: the gnustep runtime environment and gnustep development
environment, moreover, GNUstep runs on windows too!". Java has similar
approach. There is no need to refer to all sub-packages of GNUstep, as
only advanced users are downloading and installing make,base or gui
separately and they surely know where to get them - if they are not
using CVS. The home page should talk mostly to beginners.

With this, the core should have its own versioning where the minor
number shold be incremented on any subpackage release and subminor
should be increased on any subpackage fix release.

What do you think? And ... can be those automatic packaging scripts
changed so they will produce also those two (core and development-apps
source packages?
