RE: Release of gui libraries

Hi !

It is not about a serious bug but I am just wondering why pictures are
displayed so slowly in ImageViewer !

For a comparison, I use acdsee under windows 98 with less video memory (2MB)
and less RAM (64M0) that displays the same pictures that I try to see under
gnustep (with 8MO video memory, 512MO RAM) with image viewer.
The results under Windows are best for all tests.

The difference between both is rather important when I display one picture
and I want to switch to an other picture.

So .. my question :
Is the problem due to the couple  Xfree & gnustep GUI wich leads to a very
heavy configuration or is it just a problem a optimization of code ?
