Mine now works too, but I still get those warnings if I start it by hand.

;-) yes, I meant BSD 4.3 or 4.2 to compare the behaviour of the SIOCGIFFLAGS
ioctl on the older systems. I cant belive its borken on every 4.4 system,
yet it does seem to be eryurning garbage results. Mind you, I;ve gone rather
a long way away from the "finding the problem with gdomap" quest I started
on so this is probably getting off topic for this list.
