sure, Cautionary Accidental, Reminder Accidental are the relevant
commands under Notes/Rests->Edit Note
there is also Ficta Accidental there too.

Directives->Dynamics
Ctrl-D gets this up.

Not sure what command or version you mean here. I think that one can be
removed by invoking the command again and deleting the text. That sounds
like one to avoid, there is a nicer Text With Positioning command next
to it in 1.0.9

This could have been fixed by Staff->Staff Properties->Space Above, but
now in 1.0.9 you just use the mouse scroll wheel on the top staff to get
more space at the top.

Yes that's right. To do a non-printing staff now you need to edit the
score layout (that is create a custom score layout that omits the staff)

You can turn it off (I think Edit->Change prefs), but I don't think you
will find it takes anything in resources. Losing sight of the cursor was
a major headache in the old days as you moved about the score.

Eloi is working on this.

yes

well, they are all printed in the manual (hmm, up until 1.0.2 I think,
must do it again) so a crude search for a keyword can be done - I have
used this myself quite often.

what there is in 1.0.9 is a command on the left click which will put the
command you just found into a palette which can be kept around/revived
whenever you want.

thanks for the feedback
