So far no reply from the GtkApp list. Maybe the answer is not so
obvious as it seems.

My suggestion is to use g_signal_connect() and to keep an eye on
the bug tracker. Any segmentation fault happening on dialog
destruction, if there will be, is the alarm bell (and it will be
surely hard to reproduce).
