It's kind of hard to track bugs there.

Another option is to clone the auctex repo to Github or Bitbucket and use 
their bug tracker. I'm tempted to do this myself. It seems savannah does 
not have an integrated bug tracker as one would hope.

Maybe there are not many AUCTeX bugs, but I think there are still enough 
to be a problem.
