How about:

    test=strchr(buffer+10,'7');
    while(test && strncmp(test,"7{currentfile token not{stop}if 
65781.76 div DVImag mul}repeat",62)!=0)
      test=strchr(test+1,'7');
    if (test) {

Am I using a too long string?
