[Alsa-xmms-user] CVS compilation...

I compiled a CVS snapshot today... here is some "usefull info":
   - Does not work with automake 1.5 because of the depmod bug, works 
with automake 1.6.
   - On my Intel machine with gcc 2.95.3, I had to configure the 
IS_BIG_ENDIAN macro manually: "CFLAGS=-DIS_BIG_ENDIAN=0 ./configure ..."

It works fine for me: the vis is working; no "memory filling" and "CPU 
maxed out" anymore after streaming MP3 online for a "good while" :)

Maybe that would be a good idea to update the tar.gz package soon.
