Along with that release, I've reorganized the "ac-archive"
tree in CVS quite a bit. If you have checked-out
repositories lying around, you might want to do a

  cvs up -AdP

to get the new directory structure and to prune the old.

An Automake-based build system is in CVS now. The tools to
regenerate the archive are not yet, but they will follow.
I wanted to keep things simple for the moment, the
Makefile.am is already complicated enough as is.

Anyway, feedback and constructive criticism is highly sought
after.
