xlog is running as it should (2.0.2) but does not read my Orion. i have
a dual boot machine running Win XP and Ubuntu 9.10. in Ubuntu i run xlog
but cannot get xlog to read my Orion. the USB to serial adapter runs on
COM3 in Win XP.
after trying all sorts of suggestions from the web as well as the local
Linux User Group, i still cannot get xlog to read my radio thru the USB
to serial adapter.
when i set preferences to USB0 xlog crashes. when i set it to ttyS2
nothing happens.
the driver for the USB0 is installed and running according to
dmesg | grep serial
[ 0.774303] serial8250: ttyS0 at I/O 0x3f8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
[ 13.589603] usbcore: registered new interface driver usbserial
[ 13.589658] usbcore: registered new interface driver
usbserial_generic
[ 13.589662] usbserial: USB Serial Driver core
any ideas?
thanks
