Joop,That is great news! One point to consider is that many dx cluster users simply just monitor the cluster and use another logger. They might not make the connection that xlog is now xlog/xdx, And loose "customers", If your intention is to reduce management overhead by merging, it is well understood ( I also am a Linux developer, and have a full time development job, time is a premium). Maybe just show xdx as frozen

I want a xdx to indicate if the call posted is needed by looking in xlog...Hi Chris, I have decided to integrate a cluster client with xlog in version 2.1. xdx development will most probably stop because of this. Sending data back and forth between xlog and xdx is not very practical. The client will tell which spots are important for you. Xlog version 2.1 will also have a new hamlib frequency display which will show the dx-spots together with your current frequency. I hope this answers your questions...Chris K6RWJRegards, Joop PG4I
