Okay, that's new to me, but then I've really only seriously worked with
CT and in its outputs the values are seperated.

Whatever matches the ADIF standard.  While I often differentiate
between USB and LSB in the log, it's not much of an issue since I
rarely work "opposite" sideband on a given band.  The important
distinction is SSB vs. AM, etc.

That's why I mentioned that so you, hopefully, won't chase something
that may no longer be there.

If not, the log submission will generate an error and it can be dealt
with then.  I doubt that signal reports are as critical as band, call,
date, and time is to eQSL.

Personally, I've always considered the exchange seperate from the
signal report much like name, QTH, etc.  Personally, I'd prefer them
seperated, but whatever works is fine.
