[Xlog-discussion] libhamlib and Xlog dependences

Downloaded hamlib-1.1.3 and did the following "sh ./configure" "make" "make 
install".  I notice that symlink is pointing in a loop, from usr/local/lib 
--> home/bryn/tmp/hamlib-1.1.3/src/.libs --> usr/local/lib

I can not find a libhamlib-1.1.3.so.0 file other than sysmlinks.

Any suggestions, as xlog will not install from rpm because of dependence.
