Yes, I played a lot with Xresources but there is not a solution. For the better visibility to my old eyes I need simply to replace the "bright" cyan color with bright red color. That's all. I am looking into the source code where to change this single color. Cyan sucks! Otherwise the color scheme is excellent, ensuring low fatigue to my eyes, the cyan color is the ONLY problem...

Unfortunately I am not a programmer. (Interested who I am? See https://www.qrz.com/db/ok1rr). I don't find any joy in the sources etc. I go there if I must, if there is no other possibility. I am just an operator, I highly enjoy the ease to operate the tlf (the best of all contesting software overall!). I use tlf where I can, also where I don't need to observe my score, mults etc. online, so I can use tlf in most contests, although I have more painful work with the adjudicating if the contest has no direct support in tlf.

I see this list is one of low attendance. I posted my comments on the color scheme on Mar. 31, first response came from Zoltan on Apr. 10. Can I do something for faster response? Some of my requests remained unanswered which indicated that tlf is a matter of low importance to most list members.

My sincere apologies for my previous criticism. It is a result of "fatal" lack of Linux contesting software. Thank you for your friendly tollerance of my impatience, TNX!

Dne 11. 04. 23 v 4:32 Nate Bargmann napsal(a):
Terminals are set up in interesting ways. If you're using Xterm or
rxvt, then there is an X Resources file in the TLF repository that sets
the colors to mimic those of the Linux console withe a VGA color scheme.

Perhaps this post will help:

https://www.n0nb.us/blog/2020/02/coping-with-color-on-the-linux-console-and-xterm-and-friends/

If you're using the terminal from a desktop environment, then setting
the actual colors will vary with the terminal at hand. I use Xterm
(UXterm, actually for UTF-8) with the VGA color palette.
