Re: hdf5 version

Right now on RedHat 7.3 I'm running hdf5-1.4.3.  hdf5 must be installed 
if you want to compile swarm and use hdf5 support that swarm allows.

I don't know if there are people succeeding at running swarm on ppc 
right now, but there are certainly people using debian.
