We are having severe weather starting now, so I have to be
succinct.
New RPMS now exist for RH7.1 systems. I have a working,
validated good set of gcc-3.0.1 RPMS. This was not an easy
project, but in the end THese are good, I think. They install
into /usr/local and you should make sure /usr/local/bin is in
your /etc/ld.so.conf. Look here for them, in the software
directory. http://lark.cc.ukans.edu/~pauljohn/software
Also hdf5-1.4.2 is up there as well in the software directory.
You need those to use the new swarm rpms.
And using those I built rpms for Swarm-2.1.104, an excellent
vintage. I only built i386 RPMS now, but you can go here and
