Java Collections, HashMaps and EZBin

Could someone point me towards an explantion of what EZBin
is doing. I can get it to work happily with a
swarm.collection.List and it also seem to be happy with a
java.util.LinkedList. However I need to use it to plot/log
the data in a class derived from a java.util.HashMap.

Basically what I am asking is how does EZBin iterate through
the defined Collection to query the function set with
setProbedSelector().
