You might as well save your breath for the moment. Apple are flat out
getting MacOS X into a state your granny can use by the announced ship
date of 24 March. They had 75,000 bug reports and comments on the Public
Beta. The priority allocated to your problem, which is documented and
therefore can be worked around, will be very close to the bottom of the
pile.

Perhaps more to the point, OS X is currently not a released product. It
was sold on the clear condition that there were no support or bug fixes.
If you want updates and more recent builds, you need to sign up on the
Select or Premier Apple development program.

If you wish Apple to have your problem on the radar, you would be best to
sign up on the darwin-developer list. That is monitored by Wilfred
Sanchez of Apple with the same attentiveness that Marcus gives this list.
You might also get help from other Darwin developers.

Really you are wasting your time doing any production work on the Public
Beta (it is as slow molasses). You would be programming around bugs that
are already fixed in the main development stream and not allowing for new
problems that will be in the release version. The PB was for playing and
making comments to Apple, but they now have all the comments they want
before 24 March.
