archivers

I've been looking at the docs for lisp(App)Archiver, as well as Paul's user guide. There's descriptions of how to use the archivers to create new objects using parameter data from a .scm or hdf5 file. (E.g. the main program creates a batch swarm, the batch swarm creates a model swarm, etc.)

Question: is it possible to use the lispArchiver to have e.g. the modelSwarm read in parameters *for itself* from a named file, i.e. w/o the create-a-new-object step?

(And if not, would it be a big deal to provide this functionality?)

Sven
