The main additional info I'd like to gather now is from the potential
mentors -- please tell me how many applications your package would
*ideally* like to have.  To avoid a zillion msgs to the list, please
just email me individually and I will tally the results.

I should give Google a number soon.  There is no harm in asking for as
many as we want (we won't get them all), but we don't want to ask for
*more* than we want.  The number we give Google is a maximum.

Meanwhile, I will try to ping the "absent" maintainers about some of the
remaining proposals.

Of course just write if any questions or comments.
