The way the publisher would express this in foaf is you could write the 
following relation
in the html


@prefix foaf: <http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/> .

<pic1.png> foaf:depicts <https://odin.example/#o> .

In html with rdfa markup I think this could  be  expressed like this

<body xmlns:foaf="http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/";>

....

<img src="pic.png" rel="foaf:depicts" href="https://odin.example/#o"/>
...

</body>
