It's what I started with.
I think I'm making progress, but I'm not there yet.
Remember I'm pretty much starting from scratch.
I don't yet even have a mental model of what git manipulates.

BTW Is there a mail client with a reply-to-list feature?
Also good would be the list server rewriting the "From: " header.
