== Description: ==
The OpenNCID (Open Network Caller ID) project is a fork of the original NCID
project (distributed under the GPL-3.0-or-later license) that has been ported
to run on embedded Linux systems, specifically consumer networking gear such
as routers, wireless access points and network attached storage devices that
have been flashed with free, libre open-source firmware such as OpenWrt,
FreshTomato, ASUSWrt, Gargoyle and others, as well as on the Entware
environment which also targets such firmware. Only the NCID daemon its various
modules are within the scope of OpenNCID, those needing client software or
binaries for proprietary operating systems are advised to review the upstream
project for such information.
