yes, so (under my theory) we would change the savannah source pointer (you
mean just in the project?), not savane-cleanup.  this wouldn't be "migrating"
to anything new, just recognizing reality.  does it make sense?

re the git push: what is the error you got?  i'm confused.  i certainly have
no special information.  i'm not sure i ever tried a git push there.  probably
not.
