In my config, -paw-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-16-150-75-75-c-*-*-0 includes two fonts, a Japanese(multibyte) font and an ascii font. set font -paw-fixed-medium-r-normal-*-16-150-75-75-c-*-*-0
My problem seems to be that firefox gives the title as ISO-8859-1 instead of UTF-8 or something, because if i do ratpoison -c "echo ö" from an UTF-8-enabled Zsh it works fine. (If I do ratpoison -c "echo $(echo ö | iconv -f utf-8 -t ISO-8859-1)" I get an empty output.) Any way of fixing this? Also, I tried http://ruby-lang.org/ja and the output is "%*%V%8%'%/%H;X8~%9%/address@hidden Ruby - Mozilla Firefox" in the window list. nikolai
