I agree and that might be nicer in the end, if FDTs turn out to be an
inconvenient representation of QEMU devices.
I would not be surprised if we start with FDTs, and then gradually
modify the FDT code to get "QEMU FDTs", and eventually evolve to
something everyone likes :-)
