A new release for partysip has been done. It fixes a tiny
bug for ACK authentication and provide the project files
to compile partysip with visual dot net...

I've never done any official release for eXosip. This
is because eXosip API/ABI has moved a lot since the
beginning of the project (evry version...). Since
this was an issue for developpement and maintenance,
this project was slightly hidden from the community
even if many of you have been using it anyway. Among
the other reason for not making any release was the
lack of flexibility that eXosip was providing.

Since a month, I have started to rewrite eXosip
to reach the initial objectives of this library:
provide a simple API and provide enough flexibility
so it can be used in any User-Agent/Server project
acting as an endpoint. This new project is called
eXosip2 and is already available in the "eXosip2"
branch of the CVS.

The lack of flexibility has been resolved by modifying
the API and by removing all the media negotiation from
the library. (building a transparent negotiator seems
finally a useless feature to me and building one outside
of the library is simple). From this point, nearly any
extension is possible to implement with the API. You
have plain control over the SIP messages construction
even if default messages are still constructed internally.

The second point (stable API/ABI) is already done for
several part of the API: mainly calls and registrations.
I'll work on refining the SUBSCRIBE/NOTIFY to make it
independant of any SIP event package which is the
next wanted/needed feature for eXosip.

The doxygen generated API is already available and
still moving a bit at:

Source code available under the "eXosip2" branch at savannah.

Because the developpement of eXosip version 1 is to be stopped,
I made an official release with the latest code:

I'm sure you'll enjoy this "new" SIP stack for endpoint. :-)

Please send feedback!
