Sorry Felix my mistake, i wasn't clear.
I do use the same setup for ap and simulator.
When i first saw the problem i started debugging by trying different 
airframe files.
One alternative i tried was the infrared version of the same airplane 
which was working alright
so then i started removing definitions.
I don't get the error when i tried the same flight plan with the same 
airframe but configured
for IR sensors.
The remark was left there by mistake as i use the same setup for ap and 
sim now.
Now i use the exact airframe file but as you can see the
<!-- <define name="LOITER_TRIM"/> --> is commented out.
