Hi,
I have sorted out all of the issues from my other thread, and now the hardware is all connected properly, the power supply is no longer heating up, and the modems are talking to each other.
I have had a few flights, and the GCS data is all accurate - (Altitude, attitude, airspeed, batt voltage etc.)
However, every time I activate 'Auto 1' or 'Auto 2', after a few seconds the GCS shows that the autopilot is changing to 'HOME' mode. When this happens though, the plane does not try to fly back to and circle around home, but moves the servos to their preset failsafe positions.
Double clicking on the 'HOME' box to cause the autopilot to revert back to 'AUTO2' mode does not have any effect.
This problem only happens when the autopilot thinks that the plane is flying. If the 'launch' mode is set to '0', then 'AUTO2' works, but as soon as 'launch' is set to '1', the 'takeoff' button pressed, or 'AUTO2' activated during flight, then it switches to 'HOME' mode.
What could be causing the autopilot to switch to 'HOME' mode?
- A 3D GPS fix is successful
- The indicated battery voltage is correct, and is not falling below the critical or catastrophic levels.
- The RC link is strong and is not failing, and the datalink seems to be working both ways.
- The "max distance from home" in the flight plan is set to 1000 - more than enough. The aircraft is within this boundary when 'HOME' mode is activating.
Any ideas on what could be causing this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ben
