this is currently not possible since the RC link is the a safety
link which gets priority over the autopilot. The simplest way for
you would be ... to get rid of the RC receiver. If you want to keep
it, you will have to patch the lines in main_fbw.c from line 119 and
127, to disable the RC handling on the desired condition.
We are working with Martin Mueller on a way to control the aircraft
with a joystick connected to the ground station. It would provide a
kind of AUTO1 mode inside AUTO2. Probably some news about it soon ...
