The flight plan can be infinitely complex and can contain any number of stages, each stage being selectable at will anytime during the flight and adjusted by any of the preconfigured adjustable parameters in real-time, but a completely new flight plan cannot be created and sent to the autopilot during flight. There is also no mechanism in place for "drawing" the desired path on the screen in real time or otherwise, only simple combinations of lines and circles.
Paparazzi hardware, communications, boot and programming software can make a great base for any such project but you will need substantial programming expertise to properly tailor the GUI and behavior to your unusual needs.

Hi guys,
My name is Kyle Sponable, I am starting a special effects company called Paradox Illusions. We design and build stage illusions. We need to make semi autonomous robots for our illusions. We are considering using Paparazzi for our control systems. But I have some questions. Can the 'flight plan' be altered during execution and a new one uploaded? Also exactally how does Paparazzi interface function? Is is specific to airplanes, or is more adaptable to other uses. Or do you guys know of a better system for what i am trying to do?
The two robots we are useing are; A gantry CNC like device that is used to plot letters. And a robotish thing that useing lines lifts a ball up and down. And moves it in my hands.
Any help you guys can give me is greatly appreciated.
